AE68714 Computational Aerodynamics
“Computational Aerodynamics” is a graduate course (also opened to senior undergrads) giving an overview of the most popular Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods for aerodynamics. We'll see how to recast the fluid equations in generalized curvilinear coordinates, how to measure numerical error using Richardson extrapolation, and how to craft some high resolution and high order flux discretization schemes. Some of the assignments will involve using the CFDWARP code to obtain results.
