Weekend Trip to Jeonju | |
Ispent the last weekend in Jeonju [l], a small town about 280 kilometers north-west of Busan. Jeonju used to be the hometown of the Yee family [l] that ruled during the last dynasty of Korea, Joseon [l], from 1392 till 1897. Jeonju is renowned for its large Hanok village (a Hanok is a Korean traditional house) and for its really good food. Here are a few pics I took while roaming around the Hanok village: Kids eating some cotton candy. Lady in backalley. Going back to their cars after a day of shopping. |
